Wanted toxin-free eco-friendly face paint for our Halloween costumes & I’m so glad I found Natural Earth Paint! It did the job well, stayed on for 6hrs, & came off extremely easily!

This is probably not at all how most people would use this product or how the company intended but I had bought a mammoth molar that was broken into hundreds of pieces and needed some serious repairs. I needed natural earth colors that mixed in well with my consilidants and this product fit the bill well. For my use the color quality was amazing and I felt the amount of product was very good. All I would say is that I wish the little baggies were resealable.

EXCELLENT way to dip your toe into earth pigments. Dry finely ground so super easy to make your own paints, washes, with a water, oil, glue, plaster…whatever! Great value for the money!

These pigments are great to use for watercolor paints. It’s the best price for the most variety of natural earth pigments if you don’t need a lot of pigment.Each package contains about 2 tsp of pigment, which can make about 6 half pans of watercolor paints (give or take). Most colors are a strong pigment, others are not very strong just because of their makeup.Each package is labeled with its name, also DickBlick sells this and you can look on their website if you are interested in additional pigment information.This is a fun but messy project to make your own paints.I even used these pigments along with tube watercolor paints where I wanted to change the color and it works great.

Loved everything about this product. It was perfect for making my egg tempera paint. Mixed super well and I enjoyed testing all the colors. I highly recommend.

Great set for making your own paints

It's hard to find real varnish that isn't made of plastic chemicals so I took a chance on this to refinish and old antique dresser and it looks great. Goes on kinda thin and the wood really soaks it up, took a couple days to dry. Stained it first then later applied this varnish to seal it and you can still see the wood grain, I'm happy with the results.

Using for art projects that are accessible to young people

It’s so easy to apply. There’s absolutely No Smell except the natural wooden smell if there is any.I treated my wooden toilet seat. Now it’s like a brand new. I highly recommend this product!!

These face paints have a great texture , are smooth, dry quickly without caking, and in my opinion are beautiful colors that worked very well for painting our faces for Day of the Dead. We wore the face paint for about 5 hours without getting itchy or tight or irritated. My girls were able to wash their faces with just a washcloth and water afterward. I noticed there are very mixed reviews on this product, and my guess is that such a natural product tends to vary batch to batch. If that's so, we got a very good batch! I will buy this again when we run out.
