I used less dust in my clear gesso recipe than called for, as this was the first time experimenting with it. I am pleased to find that gripping power appeared to be there for oil painting.

Initially I used too much medium. Painting was still sticky after a few days even after using a heating tool. I then used much less and got a nice shiny surface. So I would say it’s a very good product, I just had to learn to use it correctly!

The easiest way I can describe my paints made with refined walnut oil is that they smell like salad instead of toxic waste. Being around commercial oil paints bothers me in a matter of minutes, but my natural earth oil paints do not bother me at all. The refined walnut oil is very good quality and mixes easily with pigments to make paint or thin already mixed paint. I am very happy with it and use it every day.

Eco-solve works great as a thinner and brush cleaner without nasty fumes. I cannot use mineral spirits because the fumes knock me out, but I can use eco-solve with no problems. I am so happy I found Natural Earth Paints because everything I have used so far works amazingly well and does not bother me in any way.

I didn't think I would ever be able to use oil paints because the fumes from commercial paints are more than I am willing to deal with. A few weeks ago my art teacher discovered Natural Earth Paints and sent me a link to check them out. After watching all the videos and purchasing pigments, oil and eco-solve I am happy to report that I love these paints. I really like being able to mix my own paints because I can make them however I want them to be, and adjusting them after they are made is super easy. I am obviously new to oil painting, but after two paintings I am very happy and looking forward to many more paintings to come.

The new gesso from Natural Earth Paint is a top-quality gesso. I had used the gesso kit before, but it is nice to have this product already expertly-prepared. I was immediately impressed when opening the jar I was not struck with the heavy ammonia smell of other gesso brands. The gesso covers canvas nicely and leaves a perfect surface for oil and acrylik paint. This gesso, like all of the Natural Earth Paint products, are a blessing to my studio and the planet. Great products, amazing customer service!

I am enjoying using this solvent and not feeling ill (I do even with odorless mineral spirits) so this is a great addition to my multi-media kit, and I feel better using something that is eco-friendly.

I was given a gift certificate to Natural Earth Paint and didn't realize there were safer options. I have tried their acrylics in a tube and they work great. I'm so happy to have found this alternative. And the staff were very helpful when I had a glitch that I created with the order.

The Acrylik paints that I've tried have all had high pigment levels and perform like the acrylics I used to use.

I bought a few primary colors to experiment with. Vibrant colors and very fine powder :) I will be buying the rainbow shortly. Thank you.

I love Natural Earth acrylics. It gives me peace of mind knowing that I am no longer dumping pollutants in the water system or inhaling toxins.

These pigmants are incredibly beautiful and rich. I've bought the entire collection at this point, and exclusively use natural earth paints for my art! Im impressed by the richness and beauty of the pimants. It's a fairly easy process to mix your own paint at home! It can get messy, and it's a little inconsistent. But once you get used to mixing your own paint, the quality is phenomenal! I also like that the consistency of the paints change a little bit. I can alter the consistency intentionally, and do some interesting techniques. The possibilities are limitless. I will forever buy from this company!

This is the healthier swap for turpentine or odorless mineral spirits. It does everything you need it to. It’s non-yellowing and archival. I have gotten rid of all the odorless mineral spirits I was using and couldn’t be happier. Health is important.
