The Perfect "Galentine's" Party Craft with Natural Acrylik Paint!

Are you looking for a fun and easy craft to do with your friends for "Galentine's Day"? This craft is perfect for a night celebrating friendship and fun!

Supplies:

Natural Acrylik Paint Set (Classic Studio) or Individual Tubes
Paint Brushes
Clean Rocks

Step 1: Mix your paint colors! You can use whatever colors you like but if you're looking for Valentine's Day-themed colors to paint with we suggest mixing the following:

Mix Scarlet Red and Titanium White Rutile for a beautiful pink.
Ercolano Orange and a bit of Brilliant Yellow create a very nice peach/light orange color.
Add a bit of Titanium White Rutile to Ultramarine Purple to get a lovely lavender.

Step 2: Choose a background color for your rocks and begin painting.

Step 3: Time to decorate to your heart's content! Have fun with this step and create a design all your own or take some inspiration from our photos below - either way, have fun!

Acrylik paints are great!

I bought 4 colors to try & really like them. They are more opaque than the other acrylics I have used. They seem to dry a little faster on my wet palette but I can work with that. They mix well with my other acrylics but I hope to reduce those and eventually phase them out. The only drawback for me is that I paint landscapes featuring water a lot & could use more blues & greens like phthalos. I love that these are more earth & health friendly.

Natural and nontoxic

I was painting with standard fluid acrylics and mediums. Even though I’m an environmentalist and had dreamed about painting with natural paint , I was worried they would be too expensive and difficult to obtain. But when my hand broke out with burns and welts from the chemicals, I knew it was time to make the change. I use Natural Earth acrylik medium to both thin and extend paints and to mix my own acrylic paint using powdered pigment. And so far, I am loving the effect; and I feel good about the nontoxic element as well.

Excellent Pigments for a Variety of Mediums

Whatever the medium, these pigments are vibrant, non-toxic and easy to work with. These are now my go to pigments for all of my projects!

I absolutely loved painting with the Valentine's Craft Kit! I love how it was so thoughtfully designed with little artists in mind! The paint washes off clothes so easily which is great for indoor crafting sessions! Would definitely recommend!

Very Grateful for Natural Earth Paint!

As an (now retired) art teacher and grandmother, for years I struggled with the issue of unhealthy paints for kids, and for myself as an artist. Several years ago I chanced upon Natural Earth Paint when I was searching for alternatives. The paints are rich and colorful and I have no worry about toxins to students/grandkids, myself, or to the earth! That's how things should be! Thank you to the brave women who had the vision of this business! It would be helpful if the children's paints came in resealable packets and not plastic (I know there is a paper bag for bulk order) and I will say the color red isn't great, but, regardless, I'm a devoted customer and will continue to buy paints from Natural Earth Paint and I recommend it to my artist friends and other teachers and grandmothers out there! We need to be the change we seek...it's our choices now that are very critical to live in balance with this beautiful planet. Mahalo Nui Loa !! I highly recommend all their products!!!
