I bought 10 of these to go with my oil paint kit. I like making my own paint, but I tend to paint on larger canvases so premixing and storing paint is a must for me. These tubes are high quality and close easily. No leaking like other brands. If you're looking for a way to store your paints, you can't go wrong with aluminum tubes. I will be buying more along with more pigment colors.
As someone trying to move away from plastic in my art supplies I was so excited to learn that the white mixing surface was plastic-free! The section for brushes is pretty big & really nice for traveling. I have 6 brushes in there right now! I bought one for my niece who is starting to get into watercolors and she absolutely loved it & loved adding her own colors to her palette!
I absolutely love this glass palette! I’d been using a thin piece of glass from an old picture frame for years, and switching to this one has been such an upgrade. The palette is huge, thick, and feels incredibly sturdy. The edges are beautifully smooth and finished. No more worrying about getting cut while cleaning or mixing!
I can’t say enough good things about this set! I had been wanting to switch to making my own paints for years and I just decided to go for it. Everything from the eco-friendly packaging to the quality of the pigments feels so high-end. The colors are rich, vibrant, and blend beautifully, and I love knowing exactly what is in my paint.
Mixing the paints feels like its own art form where I control the pigment load, ingredients, color, and how much to mix up & store for later. My only regret is not buying this sooner! Highly recommend for any artist serious about mixing their own paints, or even as a gift.
I love this paint! It is thick and creamy, with rich colors, and I am so glad it is eco-friendly, plant-based and archival. I am very pleased with the French earth colors heavy body Acrylik set, however, I am wondering, why is raw umber not included? I can’t paint without it! And it is not available as an individual tube, either. I hope you will be adding more colors!
I needed to find face paint for my 9yo daughter for a musical she's in. She has sensitive skin so we avoid most store bought make up and face paint products. I found these online and bought them, hoping that they would stay on well because she also touches her face a lot! So far it's working great!! It stays on well. I even tried to rub it off with my finger and it stays on. But it's also super easy to wash off when you want it off, and so far, no staining. Super happy with this!
