Glass Palette
Our Glass Palette is an 11" x 14" palette made of 1/4" thick glass with seamed edges.

Glass Muller
Hand-crafted by local artisans, this beautiful 2 lb. Glass Muller is 4” (base) x 4.75” (height) and is perfect for ensuring your paints have been thoroughly mixed. Using a Glass Muller guarantees that every pigment particle has been completely coated in binder, which eliminates the risk of having an air pocket in your painting. This Glass Muller can be used for mixing all types of paint. Our mullers are individually hand-made using recycled glass, so each muller is slightly different.

Bamboo Watercolor & Mixed Media Paper
The perfect professional-quality surface for your paintings and drawings. While conventional watercolor papers are sized with gelatin, an animal product, this paper is 100% vegan, made from 90% sustainable bamboo fiber and 10% cotton rag. This paper is cold pressed, acid free and archival. 

Eco Manufacturer! This paper is manufactured in a facility that actually improves the water that is used in production by filtering out pesticides and herbicides before releasing it back into the environment. They also use hydro, solar and wind powder to power their entire facility. 

This 6" x 9.8" spiral bound pad with 15 sheets comes in a landscape format and with a practical coil binding. Suitable for both professional and hobby use, this natural-white artist paper is perfect for painting, drawing, and mixed media techniques.

Return Policies

We offer full refunds on any defective or damaged products. We also offer full refunds (less shipping costs) on elective returns if the product is in re-sellable condition and the return has been made within 3 months of the purchase.

Shipping Policies

Free Standard Shipping on orders above $100 for U.S. customers.

Orders containing in-stock items are typically processed within 2 business days from when we receive the order during operating hours. If a purchase contains out-of-stock or pre-order items, we will ship the order once ALL items are available and it can be fulfilled completely. Once an order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information; please save this email in case of any issues with your order.

After a package leaves our facility, it becomes the responsibility of the contracted carrier to get it to you. Any issues or problems that arise must be resolved with them directly. For USPS orders in particular, we've be instructed that it is best for the recipient to first speak with their local post office regarding any concerns.

Additionally, you can monitor your shipment or file a claim for lost mail with each of the carriers we use: U.S. Postal Service, UPS, or FedEx.

We work hard to ensure orders are processed and received as quickly as possible, but unfortunately, we're unable to locate lost or delayed packages. We recognize errors happen and ask for your patience in those circumstances, but we will not ship replacement items or issue refunds until a formal determination is made by the carrier. Please use the resources outlined above to seek resolution if needed.

 

International Shipping

If you’re ordering from Europe, Canada, Australia or New Zealand, please click the appropriate link to visit the distributor for your region. We normally ship USPS International for international orders, and the order typically takes 2-3 weeks for delivery. Due to global constraints, shipping times may vary, and additional delays can occur due to customs inspections. Since we never know if a package will be held at customs, any import fees or taxes applied to the delivery must be paid by the recipient.
PRODUCT FAQs

After mixing, how do they dry? 
For filling a watercolor pan or palette with liquid watercolor to dry, we recommend filling the pan 1/2 way, let that dry at least 24 hours and then fill the rest of the pan and let that dry fully. This prevents mold from growing in the drying process in humid areas. If you live in a dry area, you can fill the pan to the top. Once a pan of paint is dry it will last/be usable forever and will not spoil.

Is the watercolor paint archival? 
Watercolor paint made with these pigments and gum arabic and honey are the most archival paints you can make. The pigments last thousands of years and there are no additives or fillers to affect the quality and longevity of the paint. 

Are they lightfast? 
Yes, the lightfastness of paints is based completely on the lightfastness of the pigments used in them. All natural earth pigments are lightfast, and you can see information and Safety Data Sheets for each pigment, click HERE

How do I know what the ideal consistency is when mixing?
Start with the 1 to 1 ratio and if it's too dry or too liquidy you can adjust by adding more pigment or more liquid. The test is, mix a touch of the paint with water and brush it onto your watercolor paper. If it's too transparent for you, add more pigment, if it's too opaque for you, add more base.

How long do the watercolors last after mixing?
For storing liquid paints, storing them in a refrigerator will help extend the life a bit more - at least several weeks to a few months. The dried cakes will last forever. Liquid watercolors keep longer when you add a natural preservative such as sodium benzoate or a pure essential oil of clove. If kept in jars in liquid form, they will stay good for 1-3 months. The "watercolor base" mixture will stay good in a small glass jar in the refrigerator for about one year. 

How should I store the watercolors after mixing?
-Store in small airtight jars in refrigerator 
-Store in small, empty aluminum tubes (will last a little longer than small jars). 
-Dry into cakes in half or full pans or any small, shallow container (may take a few days to fully dry). Will stay good indefinitely.
