My son has been begging for face paint for over a year and finally I took the time to deep dive on different brands and ingredients to find something truly non toxic and am delighted to have found this! You can replace colors individually when you run out, it doesn't stain your face, and best of all it's full of wholesome ingredients! It's even made in Oregon! Couldn't be happier!
This paint performs as well (or better) than any paint I've ever tried (Liquitex, Golden, Amsterdam, Pebeo, Windsor Newton). It's thick bodied (which can always be thinned), highly pigmented, provides great coverage, and most importantly...SAFE. This is the ONLY paint I'll be buying going forward.
I absolutely adore methyl cellulose as a natural adhesive for all of my thinner collage papers, especially tissue papers. It dries with a beautiful matte finish and I am never concerned about getting it all over my hands. :)
I am transitioning from acrylics to acryliks and although the tube paints are a great product I love the fluid versions. They have a wonderful creamy texture, mix well, and the colors are true. NEP frequently adds pigments and options and I look forward to new products. Customer service is great. I had a tube of one color that had an unusable consistency and when I contacted customer service they immediately sent me a new tube. I can't recommend Natural Earth Paint highly enough!
The colors are beautiful. There is no toxic smell and the paints are easy to work with. I have been hoping to find a more environmentally friendly paint for a long time.
I decided to try this natural acrylic paint after having bad experiences with oil and standard acrylic paint. I finally decided to just go ahead and try out this because I didn’t want to give up on painting altogether. You are paying a premium compared to regular heavy body acrylics, but you are getting your health back. I normally have sore throat when working with any type of paint, including acrylics, but this has been the least harmful paint that I have ever worked with. Buy these imperfect tubes to give you an idea of how well these perform compared to conventional paints. I promise that you won’t be disappointed.
