We were so excited to finally paint the nest egg gourds we grew and dried for Easter. It started out fun, but as the paint dried, it cracked and chipped. If you tried to correct it, it actually caused more paint come off as it got wet and you couldn’t reapply paint to the areas it had come off of (it like developed an impervious area). We tried thinning the paint, but it didn’t really paint the gourd at that point. We did quickly sand the gourds before painting, but the paint is supposedly usable on glass which is pretty smooth. We were outside and it was a bit breezy, so we will try to experiment more with the paint. We were looking forward to doing natural crafts, but we were overall disappointed.
Delighted to find a varnish that doesn't contain plastic, toxic chemicals or animal products. It dries quickly and actually smells good!
I have 3 eye droppers and have had then for maybe 2 weeks or so. This is my first time makeing acrylic paints and watercolors but these droppers make keeping everything neat and in ratio a breeze and for me I droped one at about 5 feet onto tile floor and it didn't break or crack it holds water no leaks to report l was amazed I do not know if this will be true for all people or even myself in the future but they are built to last.
Their products are awesomely phenomenal. They’re very fast on shipping and very very polite to work with. I really care about this company. They’ve taken very good care of me with each and every order I’ve made.
We are annual customers. I suggest doubling or tripling the recipe (especially for jumbo eggs). We have also used these on wooden eggs and the colors turn out well.
