🥚 Natural Egg Dye - Easy as 1, 2, 3!

Follow these simple steps to turn plain eggs into bright, beautiful spring or Easter eggs using the Natural Egg Dye Kit.

Hot Water Ready

Pour ½ cup of hot water into your cup. No boiling or vinegar required!

Add the Dye

Next, add a packet of dye from your Natural Egg Dye Kit to each jar or cup. These are made from fruits, vegetables, and spices like spinach, turmeric, purple cabbage, purple carrots, and beets — no artificial chemicals!

Stir It Up

Gently stir the dye with a spoon.

Add the Egg

Using a spoon, slowly lower your egg into the dye bath. Allow the egg to soak in the dye for a few minutes or until the desired color intensity is achieved. The longer the egg remains, the deeper the color. For brown eggs, extend the dye time slightly.

Pro Tips: Dip in orange dye for 10 seconds for a pale yellow egg, 5 min. of a deep yellow egg, or longer for more orange. Let eggs sit in purple, blue and green for 15 min or more for the richest color or less for pale colors.

Lift & Reveal

Finally, use a spoon to lift out your dyed egg and admire its beautiful color! Even better, these eggs are dyed using 100% natural ingredients, so the shells can be composted, and if a bit of color seeps through the shell, the egg is still perfectly safe to eat. And the leftover dye solution can be safely poured down the drain without harming the environment!

These naturally dyed eggs are ideal for spring celebrations, gatherings, and egg hunts.
