Potato Stamp Valentines with Natural Earth Paint

When it comes to crafts, I always like to go back to basics, keeping creativity simple and natural. That’s why I love making good, old-fashioned potato prints with Natural Earth Paint!

This activity can be enjoyed by toddlers, older children, and even adults. Give your loved ones a beautiful, earthy Valentine, and enjoy their smiles!

Supplies:

Step 1: Cut a few potatoes in half. Fingerlings are easy for a toddler to grip, and medium & large baking potatoes give you more area to work with.

Step 2: Cut in the heart shape with a sharp knife (this step is best done by an adult!), and then slice away the surrounding edges to reveal the full shape.

Step 3: Mix up your Natural Earth Paint.

Step 5: Apply the paint in a thin layer to the potato stamp, and paint away!

We used multiple potato sizes for multiple heart patterns.

Step 5: Don’t forget to decorate your envelopes, too! Let the paint dry and write a personalized love note.

Step 6: Share these valentines with your loved ones! Happy Valentine's Day!
